Hi there guys…I owe all of you a big apology. It has been 3 weeks since my last posting here on MrBup.com. Things have just been kind of busy around here, but now I’m back and I’m ready to post.
OK…here in our sixth installment of Living Under a Rock we are going to discuss a windows desktop app called Miro. Miro is a FREE & OPEN SOURCE internet tv and video player. If you watch movies online or movie trailers online, you need Miro. That’s all there is to it.
With Miro you can subscribe to thousands of free internet TV channels, including video podcasts, video blogs, and/or video RSS feeds. But, that’s not all, Miro offers much much more. It will play virtually any video file with complete ease; Quicktime, WMV, MPEG, XVID, and many more. Miro also utilizes the HD(High Definition) compatibility of your computer monitor by offering more FREE HD content than any other video player.
As if those aren’t enough reasons to download Miro right now, here are a couple more. With Miro, you can download and save your favorite Youtube, Google, and Daily Motion hosted videos with ease. And finally, Miro has to be the easiest way to download and play bit torrent files.

I also recently just got cable & satellite tv on my pc and set it up with RT cable from Radio Shack for $20. Pretty amazing and now I dont need Comcast anymore. Just thought it would also be a good share.
