5 More of The Most Beneficial and Essential WordPress Plugins Ever Coded

Wordpress is the best open source blogging software on planet Earth. PERIOD.

Last time I talked about WordPress plugins I named 5 of the most essential. Today I am planning on naming 5 more of the most beneficial. And here they are:

Exec-PHP

The Exec-PHP plugin executes PHP code in posts, pages and text widgets. It executes PHP code in the excerpt and the content portion of your posts and pages. With this plugin, you can write PHP code in familiar syntax.

Evermore

Evermore automatically abbreviates all posts when they appear on a multiple-post page such as the main blog page. It has the same effect as putting

after the first paragraph of every post. All formatting and HTML tags are preserved in the abbreviated post. I also really like Post Teaser, which does the same thing and has more options, but it conflicts with the built in WordPress Function the_excerpt(). Subscribe to Comments

Subscribe to Comments is a robust plugin that enables commenters to sign up for e-mail notification of subsequent entries. The plugin includes a full-featured subscription manager that your commenters can use to unsubscribe to certain posts, block all notifications, or even change their notification e-mail address! – Think of this as a forum style ‘notify me of replies’.

Post Layout

If your not a programmer, but you want to customize your WordPress blog, Post Layout is the ultimate answer. With this plugin you can add Google AdSense, HTML/JavaScript, PHP code, and Mobile Google AdSense ads to your posts with incredible ease.

Post Layout give you an incredible flexibility to insert whatever you want in posts and pages body. Adding JavaScript or HTML created by Google AdSense, Amazon, BidVertiser, Chitika and so on is a matter of copy and paste. No programming skills needed. No more troubly WordPress themes modification.

Bookmark Me

Bookmark Me is a simple and light plugin that adds social bookmark buttons to post and pages. If you download and install the Post Layout plugin mentioned above, you can execute the this plugin on every post and page with one single line of code: .

Bookmark Me works with these social Bookmarking Websites:
  • Yahoo Buzz (buzz.yahoo.com)
  • Digg (digg.com)
  • Technorati (technorati.com)
  • Facebook (facebook.com)
  • Stumbleupon (stumbleupon.com)
  • Yahoo (yahoo.com)
  • Delicious (del.icio.us)
  • Google Bookmarks (www.google.com/bookmarks)
  • Fark (fark.com)
  • Furl (furl.com)
  • Linkarena (linkarena.de)
  • Folkd (folkd.com)
  • Magnolia (magnolia.com)
  • Mixx (mixx.com)
  • Reddit (reddit.com)
  • Propeller (propeller.com)
  • Windows Live (www.live.com)
  • DZone (dzone.com)
  • LinkedIn (linkedin.com)
  • TwitThis (twitthis.com)
  • YahooMyWeb (myweb2.search.yahoo.com)
  • Jamespot (www.jamespot.com)

I hope these plugins help you take your WordPress Web Blog to the next level.

Always Try to Download Your Plugins Directly From The WordPress Codex Website.

I started MrBup.com to help people make the most of the Free & Open Source Resources available to them on the Internet. I hate the idea of paying hundreds of dollars for proprietary software when better Open Source solution are available if you know where to look. Its my hope that everyone will come to MrBup.com to find Open Source and FREE Solutions to common IT road blocks.
